Chef Daniel Boulud and Restaurant Daniel’s renowned mixologist Xavier Herit are making their way to Miami on December 12th from 6 - 8 PM to welcome cocktail aficionados with a sultry evening of delicious concoctions paired with Boulud’s legendary cuisine – served in small bites. The celebration takes place in the Bar and Lounge of Miami’s favorite new restaurant, and now also Downtown’s hottest drinks destination - db Bistro Moderne at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami. Guests will depart with a signed copy of “Cocktails and Amuse-Bouches: For Her & For Him”, the chef’s charming new two-volume boxed set published by ASSOULINE of sophisticated recipes from his New York City restaurant, DANIEL, giving classic cocktails and hors d’oeuvres a modern twist. Mixologist Xavier Herit brings innovative methods to the bar at DANIEL, incorporating unusual ingredients such as teas, spices, and herbs in his concoctions, and using seasonal produce and even the occasional modern molecular technique.
The event will be $95 per guest and will include a signed copy of book.
Daniel Boulud is the award-winning chef-owner of seven New York City restaurants, with additional dining destinations around the globe. He may be a world-famous restaurateur, but he has never lost touch with his roots in the small village near Lyon, France, where he was raised on his family’s farm, and was first inspired by the rhythm of the seasons. Since coming to the U.S. in 1982, Boulud has become renowned for the contemporary appeal he adds to soulfully satisfying cooking rooted in French tradition.
Originally from Paris, mixologist Xavier Herit joined the ranks of New York’s most celebrated bartenders when he came to DANIEL in 2005, making the restaurant a cocktail lover’s destination.
